Our History
In 1985, the president of Ice Landscaping & General Contractors, LLC better known as ICE was first introduced to the landscaping industry. This introduction immediately spurred a lifelong passion. After working for more than 10 years for one company he decided to take on a new journey. In 1998, he founded his own company which he named Ice Landscaping & Lawn Service, LLC. Ice began cutting grass with his first lawnmower, which he carried along in the trunk of his 1986 white Subaru sedan. The maintenance work of the early days quickly grew into a full business serving the county in all facets of landscaping installation and maintenance for residential properties. Since then we have landscaped thousands of homes throughout New Castle County. To this day we still maintain the loyalty and excellence of the early days. Each and every job, no matter how big or small, is still supervised by the owner. What differentiates us from the rest is that every customer gets to speak to the owner and not a salesman. To this day, Ice Landscaping & General Contractors, LLC still serves many of its original customers!
